Paulson Pharaoh's Club poker chips may be the most popular home market Paulson chips available. It was released by Hold'em Poker Chips soon after the Paulson Classics were introduced. They share the same base colors and edge spots as the Classics becuase of restrictions set by Paulson. The inlay is very nice and has a casino look to it that was lacking from the Paulson Classics. Each denomination has an Egyptian themed image that matches the chip very well. The design is very simple but elegant. A big advantage these chips offer is the addition of the 25 cent chip, which gives more flexibility to cash game users. Most of the other Paulson sets do not have a 25 cent chip but start at $1.
The Pharaoh's Club chips use the "Paulson Chips" mold that features 2 top hat and cane emblems. This is the same mold as the Paulson Classics. The inlay is 7/8" and smooth. The face of the chip is slightly textured. The edges are very sharp and the colors are very vivid and bright. The chips way right at 10 grams which is the perfect weight. They feel and sound identical to Paulson casino chips. The chips all have inlays that are perfectly round and centered. The inlay cannot be removed without ruining the chip. These chips do transfer color because they are softer than some other clay chips. If you shuffle chips together, the colors can rub off a little. This is normal with all Paulson chips.
