Super Diamond poker chips are probably the next best alternative to the Faux Clay chips reviewed above and they are widely available with a large selection of colors to choose from. The chips are very similar to the Faux Clays in that they are a textured plastic material with no metal insert. They sound great for the price - maybe not quite as good as the Faux Clay - but still great.

There is an injection mold pimple in the recessed circle on one side of each chip. Sometimes the pimple can protrude past the surface of the chip. There is also a seam on the edge. On some of the chips, the seam appeared to be fraying or shedding a little plastic. I believe there are several different versions of this chip that all look similar so be careful about what you are buying and who from. Also pay attention to the weight as some of the other versions are lighter weight.
